To study the standardized evaluation method of vibration comfort pedestrian bridges, effect transient response term is ignored based on generalized single degree freedom (SDOF) with reference to American Institution Steel Construction inc (AISC 11) specification. The resonance conditions between crowd and bridge structure are also considered, simplified an SDOF system. Then, peak acceleration under excitation directly calculated using load, carried out according German EN03 code Chinese code.
